John P. Klint, 99 years, of Lake Wynonah, passed away Saturday, November 10, 2018 at Seton Manor, Orwigsburg. Born on June 20, 1919 in Yonkers, NY, he was the son of Marcella Klejnot. John was a proud WWII veteran who honorably served in the Army as a SSGT. He was employed as a shop foreman for Unarco Commercial Products in Fogelsville for many years before retirement. John attended Weisenberg Lutheran Church with his wife, Doris.
Survivors: Wife of 31 years, Doris L. (Snyder) Valkos Klint; daughter, Judy Tigner and husband Dr. John; son, John "Jack" Klint Jr. and wife Chris; step-children: Dr. David Valkos and wife Lisa, LaDonna Mayo and husband William, and Pamela Valkos; 14 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his former wife, Adele (Schistmas) Klint.
Memorial Services: 4:00 PM Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at Keller Funeral Homes, Inc., 1018 Church St., Fogelsville, with the Rev. Raymond J. Hand officiating. Visitation from 3:00 – 4:00 PM.
