John L. Strauss, 96 years, formerly of Breinigsville, passed away on April 16, 2026, at Fellowship Manor in Whitehall. He was married to Jean E. (Leibensperger) Strauss for almost 66 years before her passing in 2023. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late John W. and Emma (DeLong) Strauss.

He was a cabinet maker at Allen Organ Co. for 44 years. John honorably served his country in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War.

Survivors: children, Jane L. Kale of Allentown, Joel R. Strauss and wife Kathy of Bethlehem and Jeffrey M. Strauss and wife Tamara Licata of Fogelsville; grandchildren, Zachary and Sean Strauss. He was predeceased by a grandson, Lewis Strauss and siblings, William Strauss, Jean Bastian and Dorothy Kuhns.

The Funeral Service will take place at 11 AM on Thursday, April 23rd at Keller Funeral Home, 1018 Church St, Fogelsville. The visitation will take place from 10 to 11 AM.
