Karen M. Neustadter, 51 years, of Kutztown, passed away peacefully while surrounded by her loving family, on Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Twp.  She and her husband Douglas C.  Neustadter would have been married for 29 years this upcoming October.  Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Ronald A. and Joan M. (Bougher) DeLong.

She was a Certified Nursing Assist., a phlebotomist, and an EMT most recently working for the Kutztown Ambulance Corp. and Family Matters Home Health.  Prior to that she worked for Lehigh Valley Hospital, the Lutheran Home at Topton, and Country Meadows.  Karen was a former member of Morgenland Church in Orefield.  She enjoyed horses, gardening, feeding and watching wild birds, and Karen loved spending time with her grandchildren

Survivors: Husband, Doug, daughters, Nichole Reich of Hamburg and Margo of Kutztown, son, Kevin of Kutztown, brother, Keith DeLong and wife Karen Yurconic of San Antonio, TX, grandchildren, Levi, Liam, and Ava, and her beloved dog, Gracie Lou.

Services: Visitation will be on Saturday, August 26, from 9:00 to 10:00 AM at Morgenland Church, 3120 Weidasville Rd., Orefield.  Memorial service will take place at 10:00 AM with the Rev. Sally D.
