Leon V. Lohrman, 90 years, of Fogelsville, passed away on Thursday, August 27, 2015, at the Inpatient Hospice Unit of Lehigh Valley Hospital. He was the widower of Arlene B. (Schaffer) Lohrman. Born in Lehigh Co., he was the son of the late Luther and Viola (Rupp) Lohrman.
He was a machinist for the former A.P.G. Machine Corp. for 35 years. Leon was a member of Morgenland Church where he served on the Consistory for many years and a member of the Kutztown Grange. He honorably served his country in the United States Army Air Force during WWII and was a member of the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary for more than 30 years.
Survivors:
Daughters; Susan wife of Doug Solt and Linette Hausman both of Emmaus, grandchildren; Kimberly and Cory Hausman and Stephen Solt, great-grandchildren; Jazmine, J. R., and Pierce.
Services:
11:00 A.M., Tuesday, September 1, at Keller Funeral Homes, Inc., 1018 Church St., Fogelsville, with the Rev. Sally D. Zelker officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M.
