Lisa Hoffman, 59 years, passed away Thursday, October 4, 2018. She was the daughter of the late George and Louise (Massarelli) Eissmann. Lisa grew up in Salisbury Township and attended Central Catholic High School. She went on to Penn State, where she met her husband Brian, with whom she celebrated 36 years of marriage last month. They had two children, Shawn and Allison, and raised them in South Whitehall. Lisa was employed by Parkland School District for 20 years. She loved working as a teacher's aide and paraprofessional at Ironton Elementary School, where she was devoted to her co-workers and her students. Lisa was very active and creative, spending her time doing yoga, kayaking, crafting, art journaling, gardening, enjoying the great outdoors and time with family. She was an avid reader, as well as a Master Gardener. Just recently, she returned from a trip with her family to Colorado, a vacation she truly treasured. She was a highly thoughtful and loving wife, mother, sister, co-worker, and friend, and will be greatly missed.
Survivors: Husband, Brian, son Shawn, daughter, Allison, sister Inga Buccella and husband James, mother-in-law Nancy (Beitler) Hoffman, brother-in-law Glenn Hoffman and wife Catherine, nephews Kevin Hoffman and Christopher Buccella, and niece, Alayna Buccella.
Services will be at the convenience of the family. Arrangements by Keller Funeral Homes, Inc., Fogelsville. Online condolences may be offered to the family at www.KellerFuneralHomes.com . In lieu of flowers , contributions may be made to Autism Speaks at www.autismspeaks.org (please "Personalize Your Donation" in memory of Lisa).
