Louis F. Schaffer passed away Monday, December 7 and his wife Dorothy E. Schaffer, passed away one day later on Tuesday, December 8, 2020.  Both were 84 years old and were formerly of Orefield.  They were married for 66 years this past February.

Both were born in Allentown. Louis was a son of the late Leon and Verna (Messinger) Schaffer and Dorothy was one of ten children of the late Lester and Lea Dreisbach.  They were members of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Orefield.

Survivors: They were survived by a son, Joel Schaffer of Orefield, daughters, Cheryl Levan (Dennis) of Massachusetts and Lucille Hampton (Russ) of Florida, and 3 grandchildren. They were predeceased by a son Wayne L. Schaffer and daughter Roxy.  Louis was also survived by a brother, Kenneth Schaffer (Rosemarie) of Allentown and sister, Ruth Bierschank of Colorado and was predeceased by a brother, Arthur Schaffer.
