Louise Adams Horak, 86, of Orefield, PA, formerly of Watchung, NJ, went Home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 29, 2015. Louise was born on January 15, 1929 to Archer and Adele Bachman of South Orange, NJ. She was preceded by her husband of 33 years, Raymond Horak; her daughter, Marjorie Horak; and her sister, Susan Bacchus.
Louise performed with the Krazy Kids of the Lehigh County Senior Center, the Choir of the Lutheran Church of the Holy Spirit, the NJ Schola Cantorum, and the Bell Choir of the Crescent Choral Society in Plainfield, NJ, among other musical groups. She graduated from MacMurray College with a B.A. in Music. Her love of music was superseded only by her love for God and people. Louise was a lifelong member of the First Church of Christ Scientist. She was a volunteer at Daybreak and the Ladies Auxiliary of American Legion Post 576. Louise touched peoples' lives daily with her gracious and loving spirit and her love for life. She will be greatly missed!
Survivors
: Louise will be lovingly remembered by her daughter and son-in-law, Mary Lou and Michael Gorzelic, of Orefield, PA; her grandchildren, Amber Finn and Michael Gorzelic; her brother, Roger Bachman, of Portland, OR; and seven nieces and nephews.
Services
: 10:30 A.M., Monday, October 5 at Keller Funeral Homes, Inc., 1018 Church St., Fogelsville. Visitation will be on Sunday October 4, from 3 to 5 P.M. at the funeral home and on Monday from 10:00 to 10:30 A.M. Interment will be at 1 P.M. Monday at Hollywood Memorial Park in Union, NJ. There will be a Celebration of Life Service at 2 P.M., October 11 at Dubbs Memorial Church, 457 West Allen St., Allentown. At the Corner of 5th and Allen.
