Mae L. Schaadt, 93 years, of Allentown, passed away on Thursday, December 29, 2016, at her home. She was the wife of Dalton M. Schaadt to whom she was married 63 years last October. Born in Tremont, PA, she was the daughter of the late Norman and Carrie (Koehler) Loeb.

She was a graduate of Kutztown University. Mae taught in the Allentown School District at Franklin Elementary for 10 years. She also taught at St. James U.C.C. and Faith U.C.C. nursery schools for many years. Mae was a member of Jordan Lutheran Church in Orefield where she sang on the choir. She sang on various church choirs most recently at Jordan and the Masterworks Chorale of Cedar Crest College.

Survivors : Husband; Daughter, Lisa Wynne of Allentown; Grandchildren, Christopher Wynne, Nicholas Wynne and wife Lauren, and Victoria Hazelett and husband Clayton; Great-grandchildren, Remington Hazelett and Parker Wynne.
