Margaret H. Gordon, 69 years, of Breinigsville, passed away Sunday, July 24, 2016 at Lehigh Valley Hospital in Salisbury Twp. She was the wife of Henry G. "Harry" Gordon for 49 years this past April. Born in Newark, NJ she was a daughter of the late Joseph R. and Helen (Wachter) Heffner.

Margaret graduated from Kutztown University and went on to receive her Master's Degree from Rutgers University. She was a Librarian at the Allentown Public Library for 18 years. Margaret was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in Orefield.

Survivors : Husband, Harry, daughters; Monica wife of Fred Schmoyer of Brighton, CO, Margaret Ann wife of Brad Smith of Cumberland, ME, and Mary "Marie" Gordon at home, son, Peter and wife Karen Hayes of Salem, MA, sisters; Ann wife of Joseph Palm of Friendswood, TX, Elizabeth wife of Richard Needham of Bensalem, 7 grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Services : Mass of Christian Burial, 10:30 A.M. on Friday, July 29 at St. Joseph the Worker Church, 1879 Applewood Rd., Orefield with the Rev. John Krivak as Celebrant. Visitation will take place from 9:00 to 10:30 A.M in the Church. Interment will be at Resurrection Cemetery in Allentown. Arrangements by Keller Funeral Homes, Inc., Fogelsville.
