Margaret Koons, 78 years, of Fogelsville, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, June 25, 2017 at Luther Crest Nursing Center in Allentown.  She was the wife of Arthur E. Koons for 34 years this past January.  Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Ermina (Gomes) Ferreire.

She was an office manager and bookkeeper for Rema Management Systems in Allentown for 37 years.  Margaret was a member of Trinity Wesleyan Church in Allentown.

Survivors: Husband, Arthur, sons, John Schrader and wife Ceris of Bryans Road., MD and Steve Schrader and wife Diedre of Chantilly, VA; step daughters, Debra Orwan and husband David of Bethlehem, Sandra Foulds and husband Thomas of Macungie, and Ruthann Snyder of Krumsville; brother, Anthony Ferreire and wife Dottie of Allentown, 15 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild.  She was predeceased by a son Phillip Schrader.

Services: 12:00 PM on Wednesday, June 28 at Trinity Wesleyan Church, 6735 Cetronia Rd., Allentown, with Pastor Gina Colburn officiating.  Visitation will be from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM.  Interment, St. Paul's Cemetery in Trexlertown.  Arrangements by Keller Funeral Home, Fogelsville.  Online condolences may be offered to the family at www.KellerFuneralHomes.com .
