Marilyn J. Snyder, 96 years of Allentown, passed away on Monday, June 1, 2026, at Cedarbrook Nursing Home, South Whitehall Twp. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Harry A. and Addie A. (Miller) Snyder.

The youngest of six (Grace Zinggeler, Dorothy Stauffer, and Harold, Gerry and June Snyder, all predeceased), Marilyn enjoyed a full life with family and friends. Her greatest joys were traveling, cooking gourmet meals with her sister June, baking her phenomenal coffee cake, caring for her beloved dogs, and practicing Tai Chi with her friends at the B'Nai B'rith apartments in Allentown. She was a secretary for the former Allentown Hospital, retiring in 1965, and went on to work for various doctors in the Lehigh Valley. Marilyn was a member of the Lehigh Valley Hospital Retirees. She was a graduate of William Allen High School in 1949.
