Martin P. Ritter, 84 years of Allentown, was called back home by the Lord on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at St. Luke's Hospice House, Bethlehem. He was husband of Rosanne (Best) Ritter for 63 years last October. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Paul M. and Hattie P. (Wagner) Ritter.
He worked as an accountant for Air Products, as a dispatcher for Gulf oil Corp, and as an auditor, office manager and treasurer for American Diversified Enterprises. Marty was also a senior accountant for 26 years for Mack Financial Corp and office manager at Hobart Sales and Service. For over 45 years he was a Master Advertising Specialist for the Waitz Corp. where he provided promotional products.
Marty was Chairman of the Board in 2012 for People First Federal Credit Union and an active volunteer for 35 years for People First (Mack Trucks Credit Union). He was a Master Mason and member of the Barger and Greenleaf Lodges, the Rajah Shrine Concert Band and a recorder for Allen Commandery, as well as the Allen Council and Royal Arch Chapter. Marty was also a member of the Cetronia Clown Band and many Pennsylfawnisch Musical Groups and an assistant Scout Master for BSA Troop 14. He along with his were co-owners of Rose-Mar Toy Poodles and he was a member of Cedar Church in Cetronia where he served on Consistory.
Survivors: wife, Rosanne, children, Timothy Ritter (Andrea Hamilton) and Lynn A. Lewis and her children, Ashley and Jacob Lentz. He was predeceased by brothers, Carl Ritter and Frederick Ritter.
A Funeral Service will take place at 11 AM on Monday, May 12th at Keller Funeral Home, 1018 Church St, Fogelsville. There will be no calling hours. Interment will be at St. Paul's U.C.C. Cemetery in Trexlertown.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Parkinson's Foundation or Alzheimer's Assoc., care of the Funeral Home, PO Box 52, Fogelsville, PA 18051.
