Mary E. Rutman, 66 years of Allentown, passed away peacefully on May 1, 2014 at Westminster Village, in Allentown.  She was the widow of Ronald E. Rutman.  Born in Sumter, SC she was the daughter of the late Edward M. and Louise (Scurry) Brunson.  She was a caregiver to cancer patients for 8 years.  Mary was a previous member of Jordan Lutheran Church where she was a active member of the Ladies Auxillary and Altar Guild.  She was also involved with the Humane Society as a foster home for numerous pets.  Mary was a member of Ziegels Lutheran Church.

Survivors: Son, Ronald E. Jr. and wife Lisa of Northampton; daughters, Cheryl M. wife of Michael Smith of Allentown, Sheila A. wife of Michael Hartzell of Allentown.  Brothers Edward Brunson, Wymon Brunson, and sister Susie Driggers all of South Carolina.  Grandchildren, Christina, Michael Jr., Kyle, Andrew and Dee. She was predeceased by a son Mark.

Services: 7 PM, Tuesday, May 6, Keller Funeral Homes, Inc., 1018 Church St. Fogelsville, with the Rev. Bruce D. Mac Laughlin officiating.  Visitation will be from 6-7 PM. Private interment. Online condolences may be offered to the family at www.KellerFuneralHomes.com
