Michael P. Regan, 68 years, of New Tripoli, passed away Saturday, February 3, 2018 at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Twp.  He was the husband of Gail P. (Wilson) Regan for 45 years last September.  Born in Jersey City, NJ he was a son of the late Jeremiah and Isabel (Grennan) Regan.Michael was an electrical engineer for F.L. Smidth in Bethlehem for 40 years.

He lived by the philosophy that we are all here on earth to help one another, and he was always willing to give a helping hand to anyone who needed it.  Mike's passion was animal welfare, and he used almost all his spare time, including vacation time, to further that cause.  He would even rescue insects. Mike was a kind and gentle man, many people referred to him as a gentle giant.  He will be missed by everyone whose lives he touched.

Survivors: wife, Gail, niece, Lori Gannon, nephews, David Wilson and Kevin Regan, He has a niece and two nephews, three great nieces and one great nephew, and a great great niece and a great great nephew.  He was predeceased by a brother, Kevin Regan.
