Mildred L. Englehardt, 104 years of Kutztown, passed away on Sunday, December 15, 2024, at Willow Brook in Kutztown. She was the widow of John L. Englehardt. Born in Berks County, she was the daughter of the late Russell and Helen (Hart) Burkhart.

She was a secretary and accountant for her husband's cutlery business for many years and was a member of the Bethel Church of the Nazarene in Kutztown.

Mildred loved to do jigsaw puzzles and converted her dining room into a room where she completed many 500-piece jigsaw puzzles.

At age 99 she broke her hip and recovered. The manufacturer of the medical supplies company asked her to share an endorsement for their products. At age 100 she appeared in a Meals on Wheels (Berks County) video celebrating MOW's anniversary.

Survivors: son, Gary Englehardt (Gwenn Carr) of Kutztown, grandchildren, Jason and Benjamin Oplinger; and great-grandchildren, Dilana and Gavin Oplinger. She was predeceased by a daughter, Loretta Oplinger.

A Memorial Service will occur at 11 am on Saturday, December 21 at Keller Funeral Home, 1018 Church St., Fogelsville. Visitation, 10 to 11 am. Private interment. Online condolences may be offered to the family at www.KellerFuneralHomes.com.
