Mildred C. "Millie" Rex, age 77 of Germansville, passed away on Sunday, March 3, 2024, at Mosser Nursing Home in Trexlertown.  She was the wife of Melvin E. Rex, and they would've been married for 61 years in April.  Born in Allentown on April 13, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Gilbert and Helen (Fries) Holben.

She worked for J.C. Penny in the packaging dept. and was a member of Heidelberg Union Church in Slatington.

Survivors: husband, Melvin, daughters, Connie Huyler of Mountain Top and Susan Rex of Auburn; sisters, Betty Scheffler of Nazareth, LaRue Fink of Germansville, and Clara Shakespeare of Boyertown; grandchildren, David and Tina Huyler, and Rebecca Wambold.

Services: A celebration of life service will take place at 11 AM on Friday, March 15, at Heidelberg Union Church, 5187 Irvin Rd, Slatington.  Visitation will be from 10 to 11 AM.  Arrangements by Keller Funeral Home, Inc., Fogelsville.  Online condolences may be offered to the family at www.KellerFuneralHomes.com.
