Mildred E. Werley, 95 years old , formerly of Fogelsville, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 27 ^th with her daughter by her side, at Country Meadows in Bethlehem.   She was born on Dec 20, 1926 in Lowhill Twp and was the daughter of the late Warren and Ella (Hausman) Miller. She was the widow of Roy E. Werley, they were married for 67 years.

She was a sewing machine operator in the garment industry in the Lehigh Valley for 40 years. After that Mildred cleaned for various families in the Lehigh Valley for 20 years. She was a lifelong member of Weisenberg Church and a long time member of Weisenberg/Lowhill Historical Society.  Mildred enjoyed sewing, baking, gardening, and entertaining.  She loved being with people and socializing with family and friends. She will be dearly missed by all.

Survivors: daughter, Diane Smith (Ronald) of Granite Bay, CA, son, Myron Werley (Arlis) of Grimes, Iowa, grandchildren, Justin Smith, Robyn Smith, Adam Werley (Laura), and Scott Werley (Lindsey); great granddaughter, Avett Werley.  She was predeceased by a brother, Clifford Miller.

Services: A visitation will take place from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM followed by a funeral service at 12:00 PM Saturday, May 7, at Weisenberg Lutheran Church, 7645 Weisenberg Church Rd, New Tripoli.  Interment in the Church Cemetery.  Arrangements by Keller Funeral Homes, Inc., Fogelsville.
