Ralph L. Geiger, 97 years, of Orefield, passed away Saturday, April 30, 2016 at home. He was the husband of Clara R. (Werley) Geiger for 74 years last November. Born in Orefield, he was a son of the late Adam and Flossie (Haas) Geiger.
He worked for the former Trojan Powder Co. for 43 years. Ralph was a member of Morgenland Church where he sang on the choir for several decades. He was an avid bowler all of his life, bowling until he was 95 years old.

Sterling R. of Orefield, Sherwood and wife Marge of Johns Creek, GA, sister, Myrtle wife of Earl Horning of Cetronia, grandchildren; Matthew, Phillip, Christine, Kimberly, and Jennifer, 11 great-grandchildren, Many nieces and nephews, He was predeceased by brothers; Paul, Leon, and Ernest, sisters; Lillian Rupp, Verna Werley, and Ida Kale.
Services:
7:00 P.M. on Thursday May 5, at Morgenland Church, 3120 Weidasville Rd., Orefield, with the Rev. Sally D. Zelker officiating. Visitation will be from 5:30 to 7:00 P.M. in the Church. Interment will be on Friday, May 6 at 11:00 A.M. at Morgenland Cemetery. Arrangements by Keller Funeral Homes, Inc., Fogelsville.
