Rita A. O'Donnell, 84 years, of Macungie, passed away on Friday, September 19, 2014 at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Twp. She was the widow of Wilbert L. O'Donnell.  Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Louis F. and Josephine M. (Allegri) Girardi.

She was a seamstress for the former Phoenix Clothes in Allentown for 25 years before retiring in 1972. Rita was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in Orefield.

Survivors : daughter, Sheri wife of Tip O'Neill, Jr. of Bryn Mawr, daughter in law, Judy O'Donnell of Macungie, brother, Angelo F. of Myrtle Beach, sister, Dolores wife of Emil Pfenninger of Macungie, grandchildren; Kathleen, Laura, Colleen, Bill, Joseph, Mary, and Elee O'Neill, and Jamie O'Donnell, 7 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son Daniel W. this past April.

Mass of Christian Burial 11 AM Friday, September 26, at St. Joseph the Worker Church, 1879 Applewood Rd., Orefield. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 AM at the Church. Interment, Resurrection Cemetery. Online condolences may be offered to the family at www.KellerFuneralHomes.com
