Robert S. Held, 76 years, of Allentown, passed away Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Twp. He was the husband of Rochelle "Peggy" (O'Neil) Held for 50 years. Born in Fogelsville he was a son of the late Clayton and Lillie Jane (Bittner) Held.

Bob worked for Mack Trucks, Inc. in the Test Lab for 30 years. He was a member of the Grundsau Lodsch 14 and the Antique Engine, Tractor and Toy Club, Inc. Bob was in the PA National Guard from 1963 to 1969. He was a kind, generous, loving man, who was loved and cared for by all of those who knew him. He was often an active participant and contributor on the Uncle Jeffrey Show on CWTAP.

Survivors : wife, Peggy, Son Robert O. and wife Heidi of State College, sister, Lucille wife of Louis Schantz of Allentown, grandson, John Robert Held, granddaughters, Ellen Marie Held and Sadie Ann Watson, granddog "Lucky", nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother Russell, and sisters, Hilda Hausman and Edna Haas.

Services: Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:30 P.M. on Friday, January 6 at Keller Funeral Home, 1018 Church St., Fogelsville. A brief Memorial Tribute will take place at 8:30 P.M. Online condolences may be offered to the family at www.KellerFuneralHomes.com.
