Robert J. Nagle, 77, of Alsace Township, PA, passed away on October 29, 2012 at the Reading Hospital and Medical Center. Bob's wife of 54 years, Doris, was by his side.
Born in Allentown, PA, Bob was the son of the late Lemoine and Ruth (Bittner) Nagle.
Bob was a teacher and coach at Oley Valley High School from 1957 to 1963. He worked for the PA Department of Health, Greyhound Food Management, Inc. and ARA Services.
After he retired in 1987, Bob taught himself to turn wood on a lathe. He was a juried member of the Reading-Berks Chapter of the Pennsylvania Guild of Craftsmen and member of the Keystone Turners.
Survivors: Bob is survived by his wife, Doris; daughters, Candace and Cheryl; grandsons, Riley and Brody Cargen; son-in-law, Jim Cargen; and nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his daughter, Cyndi Cargen; and sisters, Grace Fetherolf, Doris Ross, and Esther Wanamaker.
