Robert J. Neifert, Jr.

Robert J. Neifert, Jr., 87, resident of Hometown, PA entered into eternal life on Sunday, August 23, 2026, at Maple Shade Meadows, Nesquehoning, PA. He was the husband of the late Kathleen D. Neifert for 18 years. Born in Quakake, PA, he was the son of the late Robert J. & Florence M. (Irwin) Neifert.

He graduated from Tamaqua High School. After high school he joined the U.S. Army & served from November 1961 to November 1963. He was a member of Living Stone Fellowship Church in New Tripoli.

He retired from True Value Hardware Distribution Center after twenty years of dedicated service. Prior to working at True Value Hardware Distribution Center, He worked at Textile Machine Works in Reading in various positions for twenty-five (25) years.

Surviving are several nephews including Ronald Seward (Koleen Morgan), Donald Ansbach (Amanda Knepper), James Seward (Diane Seward), Thomas Seward (Holly Seward), & Robert Garber Jr. (Eileen). He was preceded in death by one brother Miles Neifert; three sisters Lorraine Ansbach, Thelma DeMatto, & Linda Garber.

A Graveside service will take place at 11 AM, Wednesday, August 26, at Ebenezer Cemetery, 7293 Decatur St., New Tripoli. Arrangements by Keller Funeral Homes, Inc., Fogelsville. Online condolences may be offered to the family at www.KellerFuneralHomes.com.
