Samuel P. Getter, 90 years, of Kempton, passed away on Sunday, June 11, 2023, at home.  He was the husband of Ruth (Christine) Getter for 69 years last month.  He was the son of the late Samuel F. and Margaret (Derr) Getter.

Samuel worked for Brookhaven Homes and Blatt Construction as a carpenter. He was a member of Cedar Crest Bible Fellowship in Allentown, the Lehigh Valley Woodworkers Guild and active with the T.P.A. Hearing Trust.  Samuel honorably served in the United States Navy during the Korean War.

Survivors: wife, Ruth, children, Dan Getter (Doris) of Schnecksville, Tina Getter of Kempton, and Laurie Seither of Kutztown; grandchildren, Hannah, Sophia, Sarah and Jennifer; great grandchildren, Jayden, Ava, Zoe and Jax.

Services: 11 AM on Friday, June 16 at Keller Funeral Home, 1018 Church St., Fogelsville. The visitation will be from 10 to 11 AM.  Interment, Calvary Bible Fellowship Cemetery, Coopersburg. Online condolences may be offered to the family at www.KellerFuneralHomes.com.
