On April 6, 2018 Sharon L. (Horning) Kern, 58 years of Orefield, went home to be with her heavenly Father and is now dancing on streets of gold.  She was the beloved wife of Dennis Kern for 41 years and the daughter of Shirley (Grim) Horning and the late Donald Horning and the daughter in law of Betty Kern.

Sharon owned the Paisley Peacock Floral Studio for 18 years where she enjoyed using her God given gifts to minister to any hurting soul that walked in the door.  She was known for her unique floral creations accented with a signature peacock feather.  Sharon had a heart full of love for her family and Jesus.  She loved the beach, Sunday afternoon at the pool, her garden and spending time with her family.  Sharon was a faithful and highly esteemed elder of Glory to Glory Family Church in Kutztown.  Her passion was glorifying the Lord as she sang on the praise worship team.

Survivors : Sharon will be lovingly remembered & greatly missed by her husband, Denny and mother, Shirley, son, Jeremy and wife Megan and daughter Amy, wife of Michael Peters, siblings, Larry and wife Lily, Patti, wife of Glen Seng, Bonnie, wife of Bill Monks, and Daryl (Gumby) and wife Gail; grandchildren,  Skyler and Logan Peters and Riley Kern; and many nieces and nephews.
