Shirley A. George, 82, of Center Valley, was called home on Friday, September 10, 2021, at Cedarbrook, Fountain Hill. She spent the last 33 years of her life in peace and love with her husband, Daniel C. George. She was predeceased by her ex-husband, Franklin R. Ross.

Born in Philadelphia, Shirley was the daughter of the late Harold D. and Lillian H. (Supplee) Campbell. Shirley loved three things in her life: her family, her husband, and her gardening. She was known for her knitting and her artwork. Just about everyone in her family owns something she thoughtfully and lovingly made especially for them. For many years before her retirement, Shirley was a receptionist for Dr. Rohrbach, DDS in Center Valley, always offering a warm presence and kind smile to patients as they arrived for their appointments. She was also an active member of Faith UCC in Center Valley.

What Shirley feared most about dying was being forgotten. As a humble, compassionate, and strong woman who gave generously, loved unconditionally, and lived selflessly, she will always be a part of the countless lives she touched. Shirley truly made the world a more beautiful place, and her light will continue to shine just as brightly as it always did.

Survivors: husband, Daniel; daughters Tina Ross of North Wales and Candace Young (Mark) of Doylestown; sons William Ross (Brenda) of Douglasville, Robert Ross (Susan) of Morgantown, Charles Ross (Dolores) of Hasbrouck Heights, NJ; 11 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Donald Ross.

Services: 10:00 AM, Saturday, November 6 at Keller Funeral Home, 1018 Church St., Fogelsville. Visitation will be from 9:30 to 10:00 AM. Interment will be private. Online condolences may be offered to the family at www.KellerFuneralHomes.com
