Obituary

Silvio C. Rossi, 94 years, of Kempton, passed away on June 29, 2015 at ManorCare in Allentown. He was the loving husband of Marjorie E. (Kennison) Rossi for 40 wonderful years this past February. Born in Philadelphia, Silvio was a son of the late Angelo and Mary (Kelton) Rossi.

He was a caring father, grandfather and great grandfather who was always there for his family. He was a Lieutenant for 31 years with the Newark, NJ Police Dept. until retiring in 1979. After he retired, Silvio was a School Crossing Guard in Cranford, NJ for 20 years. He was of the Catholic Faith. Silvio served in the United States Navy on the U.S.S. Zeal, a mine sweeper, during WWII. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police.

Survivors: Wife, son, David C. and wife Kathleen of Washington, NJ, daughter; Cecilia wife of George Scocchi of Doylestown, step-daughters; Pamela, wife of Robert Lacaillade of Millville, NJ, Ellen, wife of Duke Daniels of Kempton, Elizabeth wife of Keith Galvin of Breinigsville, step son, William W. Perry of Germansville, grandchildren; Robert, Laura, Jon, Gabriel, Cristina, Pamela, Jessica, Robert, Karrie, Keith and Grace, great grandchildren; Keira, Bryce, Catherine, Luke, Katharine, Olivia, Mason, Hunter, and Hudson, Jasmine, and Jordan. He was predeceased by a son Jon Rossi.

Services: 2 P.M., Monday, July 6 at Keller Funeral Homes, Inc., 1018 Church St., Fogelsville. Visitation, 12:30 to 2 P.M. Online condolences may be offered to the family at www.KellerFuneralHomes.com
