Sterling R. Smith, 60 years, of Downingtown, passed away Wednesday, September 27, 2017.  He was the son of Maralyn D. (Leibensperger) Smith of Folsom, CA and the late Ray A. Smith.  He received his Bachelor of Science degree from Purdue University.  Sterling was a mechanical design engineer for several companies over the years.  He was a member of the American Chemical Society.  Sterling was a member of Ziegels Lutheran Church in Breinigsville.  Sterling most enjoyed his cat, riding his motorcycle on open roads, and was always reading and studying.

Survivors: He is survived by his mother; sister; Wendy Blake and husband Roger of Folsom, CA. Also, his niece, Amanda Blake.

Services: 11:00 AM on Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at Keller Funeral Home, 1018 Church St., Fogelsville, with the Rev. Andrew Meckstroth officiating. Interment will be at Ziegels Union Cemetery. Online condolences may be offered to the family at www.KellerFuneralHomes.com.
