Susan Elizabeth Moore, 85, died on Sunday evening, April 26, at Lehigh Valley Hospital.  Born in Wichita, KS she was the daughter of the late Zachary and Marguerite Taylor.  The family moved to New York City when she was a child, then to suburban Washington D.C.  Upon her father's death, Susan moved to Topeka, KS, where she met and married Donald E. Moore.  During most of their 65 years together, the Moore's lived and worked in New York City.  In 1990, they retired and moved to Tucson, AZ, and then in 2007 they became residents of the Luther Crest Retirement Community in Allentown.  In the 1970s and 80s, Susan was the director of three different preschool child development centers in Brooklyn, NY then became Director of Volunteers of Brooklyn's Prospect Park. She was a member of Jordan Lutheran Church in Orefield.

Survivors: She is survived by her husband; son, Stephen and his wife Christine of Framingham, MA; daughter, Leslie Dennis and husband Patrick of Lake Ariel, PA; granddaughters, Elizabeth (Liz) Moore of Philadelphia and Rebecca Moore of New Orleans, LA; grandsons, Douglas and Andrew Dennis and six great grandchildren.

Memorial Service: 2:00 P.M. Friday, May 8, at Luther Crest, 800 Hausman Rd., Allentown with the Rev. Jimmy Lee Werley and the Rev.
