Verna M. Rabenold, 92 years, formerly of Fogelsville, passed away Sunday, July 3, 2016 at ManorCare in Allentown. She was the widow of Edwin H. Rabenold, Jr. Born in Fogelsville, she was the daughter of the late John S. and Florence R. (Laudenslager) Derr.

She worked as a clerk for the former Industrial Valley Bank for 23 years, retiring in 1985. Verna was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Fogelsville, where she sang on the choir for over 50 years.

Survivors: sons; Edwin H., III and wife Amy of Orefield and Brian J. and wife Lynn of Fogelsville, daughter, Jane L. DiBonaventura of Thomasville, NC, 5 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and 2 step grandchildren.

Services : 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, July 9 at Keller Funeral Homes, Inc., 1018 Church St., Fogelsville with the Rev. Nelson Quiñones officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M.
