Vincent A. Siravo, 87 years, of Topton, passed away Wednesday, December 12, 2012 at Emeritus Senior Living in Allentown. He was the widower of Evelyn C. (Alves) Siravo. Born in Elizabeth, NJ, he was a son of the late Anthony and Filemena (Bisco) Siravo.
He was an engineer at the former Stroh's Brewery in Fogelsville for 25 years. Vincent was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in Orefield and was a member of Knights of Columbus 4th degree. Vincent honorably served his country in the United States Army during WWII in Yankee Division 328 Battalion Cannon Company and fought in the Battle of the Bulge.
Survivors: Sons; Anthony and wife Dorothy of Topton and Gary and wife Pat of Breinigsville, brothers; Frank and Michael both of Elizabeth, NJ, and Rocko of Port Murry, NJ; sisters, Antoinette Cistrelli of Elizabeth, NJ, grandchildren; Melissa Hensinger and Christine Siravo; great-grandaughter Caroline Varela; nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by sisters, Angelica Milano and Jean Grunder.
Mass of Christian Burial: 12:00 P.M. on Friday, December 14 at St. Joseph the Worker Church, 1879 Applewood Dr., Orefield with the Rev. Kevin Gualano as Celebrant. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. on Thursday, December 13, at Keller Funeral Homes, Inc., 1018 Church St., Fogelsville. Interment, Resurrection Cemetery in Allentown.
