Warren R. Best, 90 years, of Coopersburg, passed away Saturday, February 15, 2014 at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Twp. He was the widower of Alice (Diehl) Best. Born in Moosic, PA he was a son of the late Robert S. and Mary (Malone) Best.

He worked as a machinist making tools for various companies. Warren honorably served his country in the United States Army Air Corp during WWII.

Survivors: daughters; Suzanne Gutleber and Barbara Cooper both of Orefield, and Jane Foster of Red Hill, sons; David and wife Amy with whom he resided, and Robert and wife Bonnie of Fogelsville, brother, Robert and wife Kathleen of Bethlehem, sisters; Elaine wife of Ed Helfrich of Allentown, and Shirley wife of Larry Linde of Allentown, 10 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by sisters; Arlene Texter and Roberta Sweeney, and a granddaughter Brooke.

Services: 11:00 A.M., Thursday, February, 20, at Keller Funeral Homes, Inc., 1018 Church St., Fogelsville, with the Rev. MaryAnn Hamm officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. Interment to follow at Grandview Cemetery, in Allentown.
