Weston Heylin Ruch, Jr., formerly of Quakertown, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 27, 2013, at the Phoebe Home in Allentown at the age of 87. He was the loving husband of the late Betty Lou (Lehr) Ruch whose life he shared until her passing in 1988. Born in Allentown on July 13, 1926, he was a son of the late Weston H. Ruch, Sr. and Dorothy (Daubert) Ruch in a family with six brothers and three sisters.

He attended Allentown High School and proudly served in the U.S. Navy in World War II and continued to serve during the Korean War. Weston was a production manager at Penn Color, Inc. in Doylestown until his retirement at the age of 80. He was of the Protestant Faith.

Survivors: sons; Weston H. Ruch, III and wife Georgine of Alexandria, Virginia, Timothy R. Ruch and wife Kathy of Abington, PA, daughter, Cathy Reed of Allentown, and 3 grandchildren, Amy, Richard and Timothy, nieces and nephews.

Services: 11 A.M. on Tuesday, December 31, at Keller Funeral Homes, Inc., 1018 Church St., Fogelsville, with the Rev. Joanne Marchetto officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11 A.M. Interment will be at Fogelsville Union Cemetery.
